The Bishop of Derby, Alastair Redfern, will present his
Bishop's Badge to 12 people at Derby Cathedral on Sunday
(October 5th 3.00pm).
The awards are a token of their distinguished service to
the church and community.
The candidates come from all over the Diocese of Derby and
represent a tremendous amount of work and dedication exhibited
by individuals.

Dr. Redfern said today: "I know that many people have
invited family and friends to come along as well as fellow
parishioners and I am really looking forward to the service.”
